Thanks to a generous donation by Mackenzie Investments, nine of Toronto’s historic museums will be offering FREE admission until November 30th.
During the upcoming weeks, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Toronto history, free of charge! Take a walk through the house of Toronto’s first mayor William Lyon MacKenzie and see through the politician’s Victorian way of life. Explore 19th-century innovation and creativity at Colborne Lodge, or delve into rural life at the Montgomery Inn where visitors can explore the historical role that the Inn played to Etobicoke’s development.
On November 5th and 6th, six museums will help celebrate Toronto’s culinary history with “Canada Cooks, Toronto Eats.” Food enthusiasts will be delighted to watch live cooking demonstrations, enjoy food and drink samples, and presentations by chefs and special guests in honor of Canada’s 150th birthday.
