On Yonge Street, a few blocks north of Sheppard Avenue, Mel Lastman Square holds an outdoor rink that’s open daily for public leisure skating.
Coffee shops nearby, including Starbucks and Second Cup, offer a place to cozy up indoors for some hot chocolate after your time on the ice.

Eglinton Park
One of the best tobogganing spots in the city can be found at Eglinton Park, situated on Eglinton Avenue West, just east of Avenue Rd.
The park’s outdoor rink is open for leisure skate six days a week and also holds drop-in shinny games for children, youth, and adults.
